Luke 8:18 AMPC
Be careful therefore how you listen. For to him who has [spiritual knowledge] will more be given; and from him who does not have [spiritual knowledge], even what he thinks and guesses and supposes that he has will be taken away.
Luke 8:18 AMPC
Jesus is explaining the parable of the sower, and here He highlighted that we should be careful how we listen.
Many gateways into our souls can change our perspective regarding life, God, and our identity as believers in Christ.
Hearing is one of those gates that have power to change our whole life for faith comes by hearing and hearing by the word of God.
If we keep hearing the word that is in the light of Christ's finished work, then we will start to see more of His finished work in our lives which causes us to walk in it more and more.
We will continue to see things from God's perspective and understand what it means in a deeper way like never before.
This knowledge will increase and will bring us from glory to glory and into His marvelous works just as God's word reveals to us.
If we give ear to words that contradict the finished work of Christ. It will bring us to a powerless state of life where what we have in Christ would not take effect in our lives.
Every word of God remains just as the word until we put our faith to believe that word for our lives. The life of God in the word becomes fruitful when we align ourselves accordingly.
Don't let the enemy steal away God's word from our hearing. Filter what we hear and hold on to the truth that Jesus has established for all mankind.
Let us keep hearing the truth that Jesus has established, which has placed us in a powerful place to live in His glory forever.
Live in the blessings,
Ps Ambrose
