“endeavoring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace.”

Jesus is the Prince of peace and true peace is founded in Christ Jesus. Any attempt to receive peace or encourages people to be in peace that is outside of Jesus is not the true peace.

Unity is not unity unless it is in Christ. People can be united for wrong reasons and become strong in it but it won’t last.

True unity in Christ will last for eternity. It surpasses all understanding, wisdom, and strength of men.

Unity in the Spirit also means that we are called to unite ourselves to the very image we have received in the Spirit.

To live in unity is to live in the image we have received through Christ.

Christ Jesus has created the bond of peace for us through His death and resurrection.

Now we stand at peace with God our Father because of Jesus. That is the peace we are called to share, which is the bond Christ wants to see us as His children united to.

Each of us needs to work towards bringing the entire body of Christ together. This unity cannot be achieved by programs or events but by us submitting to the ways of Jesus and living the life according to Jesus.

Let us honour God by walking in His ways, keeping ourselves in His identity, united in His love and peace.
