‭‭Psalms‬ ‭109‬:‭17‬ ‭NKJV

“As he loved cursing, so let it come to him; As he did not delight in blessing, so let it be far from him.”

‭‭Psalms‬ ‭109‬:‭17‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

It is important that we understand that whatever we speak is a seed that will come back to our own life.

Cursing is not of God. Therefore, if anyone curses, they bring infliction to themselves.

Here David said they do not delight in blessings, instead, they look for things to curse.

God’s kingdom is of blessings and in it is the security, hope, peace, joy, and love.

If we step out of God’s kingdom because of bitterness, we will attract more bitterness and it will bring harm to ourselves.

Instead, if we choose to dwell in the blessings and meditate on what God has done for us, we will move towards living God’s purpose.

We must train our mouths to speak God’s word. We must not let the same mouth that praises the Lord to curse.

We must remain in God and in His promises. We must speak of God’s word and not the words of the enemy.

We are called as children of God and of His kingdom. We need to represent God in every area of our lives.

Let us therefore speak blessings, encouragement, and exaltation so that we too can dwell in it.

Blessings
