Peter and John were arrested, put in prison and was brought forward to be questioned for the good and the miracles they did in Jesus Name. There are many doing the wrong things, so much more not doing anything but the one who is doing the right things get questioned, challenged and put in prison. This is because there is an enemy, operating in the minds and hearts of the people to undermine and try to stop the work of God. Peter and John knew this and spoke boldly right to the point that the miracles they do is done in Jesus whom the people have crucified. Peter goes on to say that there is no other way for mankind to receive salvation except through Jesus Christ. There are many good teachers, many good leaders and prophets but no one made a way except Jesus Christ. The people who cannot accept that Jesus is the only way is because they do not understand creation, the fall of man and what is the hope for mankind to be restored. This is the good news, Jesus Christ is the saviour for all mankind. Many leaders talked about attaining salvation, many pointed the way and all lead to Jesus Christ who actually becomes the way by giving His life for all mankind. There is no other person who took the punishment for the sins of men except Jesus Christ. This good news will always be challenged by the enemy who will always try to undermine it by showing another way. But there is no other than Jesus Christ. Peter and John made a stand, spoke with boldness and declared it to all who can hear them. We too need to be bold, to stand and proclaim the good news to all who can hear us.
