Acts‬ ‭2‬:‭34‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

““For David did not ascend into the heavens, but he says himself: ‘The Lord said to my Lord, “Sit at My right hand,”

‭‭Acts‬ ‭2‬:‭34‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

Peter explained that King David spoke of where he would be sitting after death, even before Christ’s death.

What David spoke about and desired is fulfilled in our lives through Christ our Lord.

David saw himself in the Lord and spoke what he heard. He heard the Saviour ask him to sit at His right hand.

We, as believers in Christ, have this privilege to sit together with Christ. It is a place of authority and responsibility.

We rule by resting in Christ’s power and dominion. We function under His strength, wisdom and knowledge.

David had a revelation of who God had prepared him to be. He slayed the lion, the bear and the giant because He knows who he is in God.

How do we see ourselves? Whose power, wisdom, knowledge and strength are we resting upon?

We have this inheritance in us, ready to be manifested if we would believe and walk in it.

If King David can claim what is his from the old covenant, which God established through Christ in the new covenant, how much more we who are living in the new covenant and are partakers of the divine nature?

This supernatural experience with the apostles in the upper room is the picture of what believers have received through Christ our Lord.

Let us rise up to our position in Christ, put on His robe of righteousness and walk in His power.

Blessings
