The law of the Lord is perfect, converting the soul; The testimony of the Lord is sure, making wise the simple;

The word law here is not referring to a specific commandment but the whole word of God. It is the instruction manual for all believers to live by.

The instructions in God's word are always perfect. God never intended for mankind to have anything less but the best.

He gave us the best which is himself through His word so that we can be partakers of His divine nature.

Best is not in the worldly measure but is measured by the image of Christ and His likeness.

If we can set our hearts and our minds that God and His word are the best then we will certainly put Him first above all else.

God's word has the power to transform or convert everything in our mind or soul to God's image and likeness.

His word is alive, active and powerful to all who believe in Him and who live in the spirit. More of God's word means more exposure of His likeness that can redirect our path to follow Jesus.

The blessings of living in God, walking in the spirit and treasuring His word is that God is making us wiser than the wise of the world.

God makes us look good in Him and brings down those who trust in themselves. As we trust God and His word, life will be simple, light and easy.

Let us desire God and fill our lives with His word so that we can be transformed from the inside out by the power of His Spirit.
