Daniel‬ ‭10‬:‭19‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

“And he said, “O man greatly beloved, fear not! Peace be to you; be strong, yes, be strong!” So when he spoke to me I was strengthened, and said, “Let my Lord speak, for you have strengthened me.”

‭‭Daniel‬ ‭10‬:‭19‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

Daniel had a vision that drained him of his strength. It caused him to be gripped with fear. And the Lord spoke the word and strength came into Daniel.

Things are always happening in and around us. People, family, and friends may at times drain our strength and sometimes fear starts to grip us.

Just like Daniel said in verse 16 that his sorrow overwhelmed him. Daniel was looking at His sorrow and the situation instead of looking at the God of the vision.

Every task that is before us can and has the potential to overwhelm us if we are consumed by it.

But if we are consumed by God, then we will conquer and manage our tasks with boldness.

If we can keep looking at the Lord who strengthens us, we would be strengthened in His might and power.

Daniel had the opportunity to be living in strength but he let fear grip him because he was looking at the situation instead of God.

Fear or faith is a potential waiting to be grasped. If we look at God, we have chosen faith but if we look at the situation, we have chosen fear.

Therefore let us chose faith by choosing to behold God, looking at His power and His promises.

Let us keep living in the strength of our Lord Jesus Christ and remain in Him.

Blessings
