“It is doubtless not profitable for me to boast. I will come to visions and revelations of the Lord:”

Paul was boasting to the Corinthians who boasted about their own visions and dreams.

The purpose of their boast is to be accredited among the people.

Paul was saying though his boasting will profit nothing to himself but for the sake of gaining their trust, Paul boasted about his supernatural experiences.

Yet the way Paul boasted about his experience, he gave God the credit of divine enablement to do what was done.

Paul needed to put his credibility in an environment that was looking for credibility so that he could preach the kingdom of God.

Therefore, Paul’s boast was not to promote himself but to gain access into their hearts to preach the gospel of the kingdom.

Titles and positions are not for self-promotion but it is a platform we received from God to serve Him and His people.

If there is boasting among us, let it be so that we may continue to penetrate our society with the Power of God.

We need to be bold and assured about who we carry within us. Bold about the power that is within us and do the work of Christ.

Sometimes we need to speak and declare what the Lord has done and rally people to be anchored in Christ.

Let us use whatever that we have to share the good news and let people know about Jesus Christ our Lord.
