‭‭I John‬ ‭4:6‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

“We are of God. He who knows God hears us; he who is not of God does not hear us. By this we know the spirit of truth and the spirit of error.”

‭‭I John‬ ‭4:6‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

John gave directions on how to protect ourselves from false teachers, spirits and the influence of the enemy.

John encouraged us to see ourselves from God’s perspective. We are of God. We are made in the image and likeness of God.

We need to remind ourselves and believe we are of God. Grasping this truth will liberate us from being under any form of falsehood that is out there.

John and the other apostles carried the message of the gospel of the kingdom and determine for it to be carried out throughout generations.

Those who know God would love His word and desire to hear them and apply them in their lives.

Those who know God desire to keep His Word and spread the same message to all generations.

Those who are of God will see things, believe things, speak things, think and live life from God’s perspective.

They believe in the supernatural above the natural.

Their minds are governed by God’s power, authority and dominion and not by the natural circumstances.

He who is not of God means those who are not part of the kingdom of God but are governed by the natural, facts of what they see and hear.

These are two different kingdoms, have two different concepts, have two different insights and both have their own ways of living.

We are called to live in the kingdom of God and according to God’s guidance and His ways.

John also taught us to be discerning and not to bring in the philosophies of the world and its kingdom into the kingdom of God.

Let us continue to seek the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and spread the good news to the world.

Blessings

Ps Ambrose
