Isaiah 10:20 NKJV
“And it shall come to pass in that day That the remnant of Israel, And such as have escaped of the house of Jacob, Will never again depend on him who defeated them, But will depend on the Lord, the Holy One of Israel, in truth.”
Isaiah 10:20 NKJV
When the people of God were defeated because of their hypocritical lifestyle, they were bound to the protection and support of their enemy.
But God is reversing all those curses and defeat by restoring us back to that place of righteousness, peace and joy in the Holy Spirit.
'That day' speaks of Jesus the Saviour of the world, coming to earth to take back what was lost and handing it back to us His children.
What was lost by Adam, was the domain to rule and reign with God on the earth, the privilege to live under God’s unlimited supply for all our needs.
All these were restored back to us today in Christ Jesus our Lord. No longer do we depend on the earth but we depend on the abundance of God and His kingdom.
What once defeated us will never be able to defeat us again for in Christ, we are more than conquerors.
God Himself will be our Provider, Defender, Commander and Chief, Protector, Healer and Restorer.
All these take place in our lives when we stand in God’s truth.
There are many so-called truths out there in the world. We call facts as truth but in God’s kingdom, the fact is not necessarily the truth.
Five loaves and two fish fed 5000 men, not counting women and children, that is not fact, that is the truth. The TRUTH of the God of the impossible.
The blind seeing, the deaf hearing and the lame walking. These things do not sit right with facts but they will sit absolutely perfect with GOD’S TRUTH.
Our dependence on God is clearly shown when we put our complete trust in God’s truth and not facts.
