“And when he came to the den, he cried out with a lamenting voice to Daniel. The king spoke, saying to Daniel, “Daniel, servant of the living God, has your God, whom you serve continually, been able to deliver you from the lions?”” Daniel 6:20 NKJV Incredible story of Daniel and his lifestyle that reflected the God that he worshipped. A heathen king would highly regard the God of Daniel because of Daniel’s character and firm beliefs that he had towards God. What seems to look like a great disaster turned to be the biggest miracle and favour of God over his life. Daniel had a strong foundation on which he stood strong under the storms of his life. He conquered his storm by being faithful to God and His promises. His dedication was not in secret but he worshipped God with the window open, that speaks that he is not afraid of any power, authority or men. His dedication and persistencies has caused the king to make a decree that in every dominion of king's kingdom, men must tremble and fear before the God of Daniel. For He is the living God, and steadfast forever; His kingdom is the one which shall not be destroyed, And His dominion shall endure to the end.” Daniel's life changed the system of honour and worship in that kingdom. We live in a better covenant and better promise than Daniel. We have the power to influence our family, society and our nation. If we can take time to be persistent in doing what God has called us to do. We have the power and authority to do all that God has spoken to us to do. We are His chosen vessel to shine forth the glory of God. Let us continue to build our lives in Christ by standing firm in His promises. Standing believing till the end. Blessings
