And I urge you also, true companion, help these women who labored with me in the gospel, with Clement also, and the rest of my fellow workers, whose names are in the Book of Life.

Euodia and Syntyche were coworkers of Christ, and Paul talks about them as true companions for the gospel of Christ. Paul esteemed them as the same as him in serving the Lord.

Here is one place where we can see women in ministry serving the Lord powerfully just as Paul did. We praise the Lord for women preachers.

But as leaders, they had some serious disagreements which were not mentioned exactly, but it is not about preaching a different gospel. Perhaps a different way of personality or in the way they serve the Lord.

Paul here urges them both to resolve the issues by commending them to come into the same mind IN the LORD.

A place of unity is not coming to a neutral ground where we can divide 50% on each side. Instead, it is abandoning the arguments and coming into Christ's fullness to see our minds on God's agenda.

When we are set on God's mind, there is no place to think about arguments, there is no room to wander around each other's backs.

When we set our minds on Christ, we will be united to work towards reflecting, living, and spreading the gospel of His kingdom.

Everything we do begins to unify us as a strong unit of Christ's body to powerfully move to accomplish His purpose in this world.

Every minister who preaches the true gospel, their names are written in the book of life. It is important that we remember that they are God's hands and feet in this world.

Hurting them is hurting the body of Christ and persecuting them is like persecuting Jesus. Therefore, we must not get into arguments with ministers of the gospel but pray for them, encourage them in the light of God, and surrender them before the Lord.

The most important thing for us all is to have the same mind as Christ. To be united and strong in the love of Christ.
