Ephesians 2:11 NKJV

Therefore remember that you, once Gentiles in the flesh—who are called Uncircumcision by what is called the Circumcision made in the flesh by hand. Ephesians 2:11, NKJV

The Apostle Paul, who once followed the law and was circumcised in the flesh, now emphasizes the importance of being circumcised in the heart towards the Lord Jesus.

Paul encourages believers to uphold Jesus and His work, rather than focusing on fleshly things. He calls us to prioritize our faith in God, marked by obedience to our new life in Christ, rather than relying on our flesh or past experiences.

People often tend to lift up things that involve the flesh, rather than walking in the Spirit of the Lord. This is because humanity often gets attached to what is familiar in the natural, rather than embracing the supernatural.

We must remember everything we see came out of things that were not visible. So, putting our trust in God's promises is the best thing to do.

The circumcision of the heart represents a faith that is lived out in obedience to God rather than being defined by our past, which we have experienced.

Jesus is calling His church to live in the spirit because that is who He is. This is so that we may walk in the Spirit and live by faith in the Son of the living God.

Let us continue to fix our eyes on Christ and on His precious promises.

Blessings
