I Peter 2:8 NKJV
“and “A stone of stumbling And a rock of offense.” They stumble, being disobedient to the word, to which they also were appointed.”
I Peter 2:8 NKJV
In the beginning was the word and the word was with God and the word was God.
When God made man in His image and likeness, mankind became like God, which is the Word.
Mankind cannot live to its full potential if they don’t live by the Word because the Word is who they are.
Anyone who doesn’t live by the word will stumble and fall to the ways of the devil.
We are the word to be manifested, to be revealed and shine. This is one of the reasons why God wants us to seek Him first (the Word).
When we seek God,( the Word) we find out what we are, who we are and what we have.
Once we know who we are, where we come from and what we are called to do, we must live our lives according to it.
If we don’t live by the truth that has been revealed to us, then that truth becomes a stumbling stone for our next step.
This is because that truth is our next step to living life in God. Denying it means falling short of His glory.
Christ has fulfilled all that needs to be fulfilled in our spirit.
We are complete in Christ. Therefore, we need to start living by faith in what Christ has done for us.
We are God’s word in the spirit waiting to be manifest in the flesh, just like Jesus.
We look to Jesus because He is the word.
We look to all He has done because that is what Christ has given and now we go out and reflect Him just as He reflected our Heavenly Father.
If we don’t live like the word of God, we are not living our life as who we really are.
Let us not stumble but rise up to this glorious image that Christ has bestowed upon us.
Blessings
