The Israelites were still living adulterous life in their mind and heart.
They keep wanting to go back to serving wood and stone and live just to get by with their sufferings.
These are the kinds of thoughts that kept the Israelites from entering the promise land.
They let their mind to meditate on going back to where they were.
What comes up in our minds needs to be taken with careful consideration.
It can cost us our future. It can cause us to miss what God has prepared.
We are the ones responsible for journeying forward to take hold of everything God has prepared.
Many drop off, stay back, lay low and just get by. That is selfish and self-centred.
Each one of us carries God’s plans, Gods promises and how we live today sets a stage for the next generation to live in God.
If we push through against our own pride, and our own desire to pursue God then we will not only live in His blessings but also give our next generation a great start in life.
We need to guard our minds from things that pull us down to settle for less when God has planned for the best.
Many people of God leave behind great possibilities because of what they have made up in their minds.
It is no longer I who live, but Christ in me and the life I live, I live by faith in Christ.
