“And they asked him, “What then? Are you Elijah?” He said, “I am not.” “Are you the Prophet?” And he answered, “No.””

John the Baptist was questioned, challenged and accused of carrying out his God assignment here on earth.

The religious leaders did not understand it. The one who should have been on it did not do anything about it but they questioned the one who was actually doing it.

When serving the Lord, we have to focus on the One who has called us and not on those who say a lot of things and don’t do anything.

We have in the body of Christ so many who are gifted, many who know but very few who actually get into doing it.

We need to start encouraging those who are on the field and serving the Lord.

We need to encourage others to be of support to those who are serving the Lord.

We all can play a part in helping others to fulfil the plan and purpose of God.

Therefore, let us all be doers of God’s word and encourage others to continue to serve our Lord Jesus Christ.
