Titus 2:15 NKJV

“Speak these things, exhort, and rebuke with all authority. Let no one despise you.”

Titus 2:15 NKJV

Paul taught his co-worker Titus to be bold in ministering the truth by turning people away from wrong perspectives, beliefs, and life patterns that hinder their spiritual growth.

Paul taught Titus to function under God's authority to help people break free from the trap the enemy is setting for their lives.

Titus was taught to build people in the sound doctrine, which is Jesus Christ and all that He has laid for us.

There is nothing sound outside of Christ to take people from bondage of death to eternal life. There is only one power that can translate us from the kingdom of darkness to the kingdom of His light.

Every person is to be nurtured in the truth so that each one will produce the characteristics of God through their lives.

All that Paul listed in this chapter are points to be imparted to all believers. So that each one can grow responsibly towards maturity with accountability.

Every life has a pattern that has been built and laid time after time and day after day. What pattern we are laying for our life is crucial for our future development.

What we see in our lives today is the pattern we have laid; knowingly or unknowingly, it has been set and produced what we see today.

If what we see today does not look like Jesus, we have to take action to change the pattern today, lay the things of God, His principles and truth that give life to a whole new way of living.

What Paul taught Titus to do should be our personal monitoring for our lives, for our family, and for the community.

Let us hold fast to the life Christ has given and apply God's truth that causes us to walk in His freedom.

Live in the blessings,

Ps Ambrose
