“When they saw Him, they worshiped Him; but some doubted.”

After the resurrection, Jesus ‬‬appeared many times to His disciples and taught them many things about the kingdom of God.

They obviously could not recognise Jesus each time Jesus appeared to them.

And we are sure of one thing; that is Jesus did not want Mary who saw Him first, to touch Him before He is glorified.

Jesus wanted everyone to behold Him in His glorified form which is in the Spirit.

This is so important for us to understand because Jesus knew if we keep beholding Him in any other form that is made out of this earth, we will not be able to fully behold Him in His true image, in the spirit.

Everything that Jesus taught using earthly examples, symbols, and parables will lead us to see things in the spirit.

As John 4:24 says that God is Spirit. If we hold on to the earthly dimension to connect to the heavenly dimension, we have fallen short of His glory.

But if we continue to hold on to His true image and keep beholding Him in the spirit, then we will grow from glory to glory.

People who desire to hold on to symbols and rituals often become a stumbling block for their own growth and others who follow them.

The scribes and the Pharisees had followers who rejected the very truth that was before their eyes.

God who is spirit wants us to see Him in His supernatural image and in every word that He speaks. We need to hear it with our supernatural ears and see it with our supernatural eyes.

Holy Spirit, help us to see Jesus in the Spirit and live life in His true image and likeness.
