Mark‬ ‭1‬:‭41‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

“Then Jesus, moved with compassion, stretched out His hand and touched him, and said to him, “I am willing; be cleansed.”

In this passage, Jesus revealed the heart of the Father. His desire is for His children to walk in wellness.

Just like the leper who came to Jesus with a question, if Jesus would be willing to heal him.

There can be many reasons why the leper came up with this question about the willingness of Jesus to heal.

The leper came to Jesus because he knew that Jesus could heal yet the doubt of Jesus’s willingness was there.

The experience that the lepers had to go through had caused them to doubt Jesus willingness to heal.

In those days, lepers were an outcast in society. They were looked down, rejected and cast out from the society and the religious people pronounced them unclean.

Though they knew Jesus could heal but their experience caused doubt in their hearts.

But the desperation to cease the opportunity to be healed pushed them to try and see what happens.

Many of us believe that Jesus heals, but our past experience sometimes can hinder us from receiving the miracles that Jesus is so willing to give.

If we can learn to seize the opportunity like the lepers, who push through and pass over their bad experiences and took the opportunity.

We too can experience the breakthroughs, healings and deliverance in our own lives.

Jesus is more than willing to heal us. He gave His life for us so that we can have all that the Father has willed for all mankind.

Let us take this opportunity every day that is available in Christ and let His love and power restore us completely in Him.
