Philippians 4:10 NKJV

But I rejoiced in the Lord greatly that now at last your care for me has flourished again; though you surely did care, but you lacked opportunity.

Philippians 4:10 NKJV

Paul expressed his gratitude for the financial support he received from the Philippians. The Philippians had supported Paul before, but then stopped; they continued again.

Paul described that they lacked opportunity to do so for him, but found their way to send him the blessings.

Paul was able to do the work of God and keep encouraging the believers with or without the support of the believers.

It's always a welcoming news when believers give towards the work of God. To partner for the kingdom work is so important.

To hear stories of pastors in the interior villages, how they are filled with joy when they see a believer whom they have never met bless them financially, is encouraging.

Their support has kept these pastors' families going the extra mile to preach the gospel to the beautiful people in the villages.

Paul was content without it, but he was also blessed to see the support. We pray that many more people who have been blessed by God financially will start to give towards the kingdom work.

We as believers need to look for opportunities to partner for the kingdom of God. Let our financial support bring the gospel of Christ to the ends of the earth.

It is an encouragement for all to look for that opportunity where the gospel is preached, souls are being saved and set free.

Let us be good stewards of God's abundance, and may we partner for the kingdom of God.

Live in the blessings

Ps Ambrose
