Isaiah heard the voice of God that differentiated between the eternal and the temporal. Between what has the power to carry us through and what is collapsible and between what is a solid foundation and a shaky ground.

The declaration from heaven clearly points to the truth which is the word of God. This shows us that if we stand on the word of God, nothing can shake us, nothing can cause us to sink down but will sail through every storm of life.

God's word is the substance the entire universe was made and if God's word holds the universe in its place, how much more for us who stand on the eternal word of God.

How many of us would put our entire trust on the word that has proven to stand for eternity? It would be wise to start building our lives according to the truth.

Jesus is the manifested word of God to us. We need to stand according to His image and His likeness that is revealed in the scriptures.

Therefore, to stand on the word of God is to stand on everything Jesus has established for all mankind.

To understand the word of God is important as it gives us the knowledge of what Christ has done for us but without implementing them into our lives will not bring any changes to our lives.

Let us therefore take everything that Christ has given to us and put it into practice, building and strengthening our lives everyday.
