There are diversities of gifts, but the same Spirit.

Paul is showing the difference between unified diversity in the spirit and the diversity in the world. People were once worshippers of idols that could not speak, lead, or help. We need to understand that in the kingdom of God, we are all one in Christ.

This means we have the same Spirit of God to carry out the works of God for God. It does not matter that we are men, women, youths, teenagers, or children.

Everyone who yields themselves to Christ and God the Holy Spirit can function as Christ did.

This brings everyone to function under God's power and in His love with the same measure that was upon Christ.

Therefore, we are all an important part of His body in the kingdom of God. We may have different duties, work, or assignments, but it is to move the entire body to get the work done.

The assignment of the Holy Spirit and His capabilities are the same in every person. As we step out to do God's work, God's Spirit will accomplish what is needed to accomplish through our lives.

We are called a body in Christ. Therefore, we must see each other as important co-workers and work together in moving forward.

There will be no pride and self-boastfulness because we all function under God's grace and power.

This state of mind will motivate us to edify one another. Encouraging each other means helping one another to move forward to accomplish our assignments.

Let us abide in Christ.

Be united in His Spirit, and move with all that He has prepared as one body.
