Titus 2:2 NKJV

that the older men be sober, reverent, temperate, sound in faith, in love, in patience;

Titus 2:2 NKJV

The ultimate objective of Paul's teaching is about leadership by example. This characteristic is not exclusive to older men, but is applicable to everyone.

If anyone desires to be an effective leader, he or she has to lead by example. We have many leaders who are worried but teach others not to worry, many who say to one another to trust God, but they are not trusting God.

This kind of leadership will not produce lasting results. But those who put the word of God into their lives and live in the supernatural grace and favour of God will begin to lead effectively.

People are looking for models, mentors, and leaders who show by their lives how to live in the glory of God.

Jesus is our perfect example. He lived in the flesh but walked in the supernatural power of His Father in heaven. This helps us to understand that we, too, who are born again, are filled with the supernatural power of Christ, though we live in this flesh.

It is not a method, it is not a formula, it is not a strategy, but a lifestyle that reflects God's word. It reflects that God's Word has become flesh in us.

True, effective leaders submit to their leaders and ultimately to Christ, who is the head of all mankind. How we submit will lead others to live a submitted life in Christ.

We submit to those leaders who submit to Christ and point to Christ fully as their source of life.

Therefore, we are all called to lead, live, and walk as an example so that others may see and follow our footsteps.

Let us look into God's perfect law of liberty. Let us change and demonstrate Christ's likeness and His image daily for all to see the glorified Jesus Christ, Son of the living God.

Live in the blessings,

Ps Ambrose
