Matthew 2:1 NKJV
Now after Jesus was born in Bethlehem of Judea in the days of Herod the king, behold, wise men from the East came to Jerusalem,
Matthew 2:1 NKJV
When Jesus was born, the first people in the world to acknowledge the birth of a King were the wise men. Wise men are those who studied stars and divine events. They search for deep truth by looking at every aspect of nature.
When the wisest men of the world came to worship Jesus as Lord and King, it should stop all the arguments of all worldly philosophers out there that Christ is the King of kings.
The wise men did not visit every newborn king, but they dropped everything they were doing to search for this newborn King, Jesus.
They must have seen something change like never before when Christ was born. They must have known that this King was different from the rest. Therefore, they came wanting to witness for themselves.
We have today the wisest book, the most powerful word, which is alive and active when we believe the word of God.
There are revelations in His Word that God has prepared for His children to receive. We will come to know the divine power that is in us as believers in Christ.
There is nothing more important than the Word of God in our lives. The wise men dropped everything to search for the new King to worship Him.
We will drop everything to give God the first place, first priority, and our first attention, for out of that comes His life and His goodness.
Let us remain in His presence, in His love, and in all that Christ has established for us.
Live in the blessings,
Ps Ambrose
