Luke 6:46 NKJV

But why do you call Me ‘Lord, Lord,’ and not do the things which I say?

Luke 6:46 NKJV

Jesus says why do you call and not obey. This is true for so many of us in so many areas of our lives. Even some who have put Jesus in the driving seat yet still control the movements from the passenger's seat. We argue with the driver and refuse to get out of the car when we arrive at the destination.

Living in Christ is a journey, and it never stops. This means we are to never stop following Jesus no matter how things may look like.

Many praise God, many worship Him, and many carry out the rituals, but yet they go back and do their own things.

This is why we are all called to walk in humility and keep following Jesus as the Lover of our lives.

Every gift is from God, every power is from God, and every miracle is from God. God is not impressed by those things because those are His.

What impressed God is something He can't give, that is our OBEDIENCE to Him. Nothing impressed God more than obedience to Him.

We obey even when it makes no sense, we obey when everyone leaves, and we still obey Him because He has called us.

Let us walk in obedience by living out the word of God. Put into action the revelation we have received from Him.

Blessings,

Ps Ambrose
