that at that time you were without Christ, being aliens from the commonwealth of Israel and strangers from the covenants of promise, having no hope and without God in the world.

Paul taught the believers about our old self and the new person in Christ, from living in the realm of the flesh to living in the realm of the spirit.

Once we were all ruled by the realm of the flesh because all mankind has fallen from a spiritual being created in the image of God to a fleshly being as part of the earth.

Now we are all restored through Christ as children of God. We are born again back to the image of God and according to His likeness.

This means we cannot live by the principles of this world for we were made to live by the principles of the kingdom of God.

We ought to be different in the way we speak, in the way we think and in the way we do things here on earth.

We are to bring heavenly principles back to earth and to establish God's kingdom here on earth. It is a mission for every believer.

We are a people with hope, with a great future, people filled with God's love and power to reverse this world according to the kingdom of God.

We need to construct our lives according to Christ, change our words, change our thinking and change our perspective according to what Christ has established for us.

It is no longer I who lives but Christ who lives in me. Therefore our foundation, our precepts and our goals need to be according to God's kingdom.

Let us start the construction of our lives with all the blessings Christ has given to us.
