Ephesians 2:1 NKJV
“And you He made alive, who were dead in trespasses and sins,”
Ephesians 2:1 NKJV
There are two definitions of the word sin. One is a false step and the other is short of standard or to fall short of God’s glory.
Mankind has taken a false step and has fallen short of God’s abundance by disobedience.
Sin is really to fall short of God’s glory or to walk away from God’s truth.
What Jesus did for us is far beyond what mankind can do. Jesus reversed those steps and restored us back to His abundance.
So that we now can walk in the right steps of His goodness, grace and love.
In Christ, we are not going to be made alive, but HAVE COME ALIVE IN HIM.
Most of us boast about our lacks, our weaknesses and what we cannot attain but here Jesus Christ has made us alive in Him.
We have something far greater to boast about - that is His finished work for each one of us.
We need to see ourselves come alive in His fullness, see ourselves walking in His power and live out of His abundance.
These promises are too good to be true, too good because there is no way man can attain them.
That is why Jesus came to die for us and gave all the promises to us as a free gift.
All we have to do is to believe and live it out every day of our lives.
Let us not waste any more time by meditating on the wrong things but meditate on all that Christ has done for us.
When we finish our time here on earth, we can present to our Father in heaven some fruits from being like Christ.
Blessings
