Hebrews‬ ‭10:39‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

“But we are not of those who draw back to perdition, but of those who believe to the saving of the soul.”

‭‭Hebrews‬ ‭10:39‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

The letter to the Hebrews in this chapter speaks of encouragement to continue in the faith of Jesus Christ and warning not to draw back.

For we all have received a superior “ new” covenant in Christ with superior promises than of the old covenant.

Therefore, we don’t shrink back to save our souls by works but believe that we are saved in Christ and start saving others with the same gospel of the kingdom that Jesus preached.

Christ came with a mission to raise us up as priest and kings from His throne so that we will be a priest to the world by presenting Jesus as the way, the truth and the life.

We should never go back on our mission in Christ but first with prayer. Come together to pray for souls to be saved. Breaking every stronghold that is keeping them from God.

By giving out information about Jesus “tracts”, so that they can read about Jesus and using every avenue of media to share Jesus.

Taking a step to speak to someone, then praying healing for someone and eventually leading someone to Jesus.

These are some things that we have to grow into maturity and not draw back. The early church in the book of Acts was doing it as part of their daily life.

But traditions set in to keep people in our homes and in our chairs rather than shining the light for Jesus in the world.

Let us keep the faith of Jesus and keep pressing on till we meet our Creator and Lord.
